The Bison EP is a collection of songs written in a time in my life where everything seems to be new. Moving to a new city on my own, having new people and new influences in my life, losing other people, and finding who I am as a solo artist as opposed to being in a band. The Bison EP is my attempt to create the biggest sound possible with minimal instrumentation. What was used on this record is simple, two guitars at the most, a kick drum made out of an old suitcase, a tambourine, and of course my vocals. My goal was to be able to perform all of these songs live with only one to two people on stage. I believe the simplicity allows each instrument to have room to breath, which creates a deceivingly large sound leaving you wondering if less really can be more. God bless.
